Sketchbook Saturday

This week I've been thinking about Renaissance paintings, in particular the quiet poses of the women.   I enjoy their serene, pensive, thoughtful faces.  A few have made their way into my sketches and possibly will later come up in other places.  On top, more playing with raw linen with acrylic paint and pencil.  The lower pages are just with pen, something I rarely do as I often prefer to be able to erase things.  However, good to push your boundaries sometimes.
